DEVELOPMENT OF NEW VISUAL IDENTITY, MARKETING AND COMMUNICATIONS COLLATERAL, AND WEB PLATFORM (MICROSOFT SHAREPOINT)
CHALLENGE
Marketing airport industrial available property is harder than it sounds so a full understanding of client expectations and project goals were needed to ensure the TWG team design a new visual brand, marketing and communications collateral, and a web platform built on a Microsoft Sharepoint platform to get the job done. Coordinating with City of North Bay I.T. staff and ensuring the development platform used would integrate with City software while using the latest technology to produce a visually stunning, highly informative, easily navigable site was a significant challenge.
INSIGHT AND KEY CONSIDERATIONS
The City of North Bay experienced steady growth over the better part of a decade from 2002 to 2008. During this period almost all available industrial lands were sold, leaving little room for industrial expansion. Jack Garland airport, with hundreds of acres of available land was earmarked as the next phase for commercial and industrial expansion offering ground side and air side lots for sale and development.
IMPLEMENTATION
The YYB undertaking involved the acquisition of professional photography and video assets, synthesizing technical and supporting data, incorporating mandated information and developing links to complimentary and related organizations. Editing was ongoing and frequent requests for changes were undertaken to ensure client satisfaction.
RESULTS
The YYB new visual brand, communications materials and new Microsoft Sharepoint web platform met all the objectives originally set out and has done so with the use stunning imagery, bold design and significant market impact. Reports about acceptance of the site have been both favorable and positive.
