CHALLENGE

The Carpenters Union (Carpenters District Council of Ontario) was seeking to develop a fresh, new, online presence that would best represent a province wide membership and the organization’s mandate and variety of available services. The Carpenters Union required a contemporary online presence to highlight industry facts, membership information, a calendar of events, industry related health and safety issues, training, resources, photo galleries and more, in a coordinated and engaging fashion.

INSIGHT AND KEY CONSIDERATIONS

The Carpenters Union new website required a professional look and feel with a friendly interface. The new site needed to be easy to navigate and built from solid design features created to effectively promote the organization and raise its image. TWG was given artistic license with new look and feel of the site.

IMPLEMENTATION

The new site required a customized Content Management System (CMS) platform to satisfy specific requirements and functionalities needed to meet client objectives. Of special concern to the client was that the website needed to be accessible for in-house staff to update text and images on an ongoing basis.
